    We are thrilled to have you stay with us. please take a moment to review and follow these important rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

    1. responsibility for property
      Cow Lake Ranch is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property during your stay. Please take care of your personal belongings.

    2. use of the facility
      You are using this facility at your own discretion. By entering the property, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any risks associated with outdoor activities in a wilderness setting.

    3. lake access

      There is no direct lake access from Cow Lake Ranch. To access the lake, guests must use the Cow Lake Campground access or the boat launch on the north side of the lake.

    4. shared driveway & speed limit

      The driveway is shared with the landowners. Please be respectful and adhere to a speed limit of 15 km/hr.

    5. wildlife awareness
      Cow Lake Ranch is located in the wilderness and is home to wildlife, including bears, cougars, wolves, coyotes, foxes, moose, elk, deer, golden eagles, bald eagles and cranes. Please exercise caution and follow all safety guidelines when exploring the property.

      DO NOT FEED OR APPROACH WILDLIFE (But do safely capture a few snapshots to share)

    6. pets
      Pets are welcome to Cow Lake Ranch, but they must be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pets to maintain the cleanliness of the area.

    7. atv use
      There is no free use of ATVs anywhere on Cow Lake Ranch. ATV use is strictly regulated.

    8. horses
      Horses are permitted to come to Cow Lake Ranch, provided they stay in the designated area. There are two pens or a four-acre paddock to turn out overnight. Horse water is provided. We ask no horses be kept in the group camp area. You are welcome to bring your horse feed. Please do not leave any feed behind. Please respect these boundaries to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone.

    9. noise regulations
      Quiet hours begin at midnight. Please keep noise to a minimum after this time to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests.

    10. bass music
      Bass-heavy music is strictly prohibited. Please be mindful of the sound level and ensure it does not disturb others.

    11. right to cancel gatherings
      We reserve the right to cancel any gatherings or events at any time, especially if they result in disturbances to the peace and tranquility of the ranch.

    12. alcohol and event permits
      Any gatherings that include serving alcohol will require proper permitting and event insurance. Please contact the ranch management for further details.

    13. inclement weather and bugs
      Inclement weather conditions and the presence of insects, such as mosquitoes, are beyond our control. These issues are not eligible for a refund. Please come prepared for outdoor conditions.
